On my iPod: Don't have one but if I did you'd certainly find Sigur Ros, Johnny Cash, Fleet Foxes, and Phil Wickham (a recent addition.)

My favorite books: Lots of C.S. Lewis, a number of Stephen Lawhead books, VELVET ELVIS by Rob Bell, IT'S YOUR SHIP by Michael Abrashoff, and JESUS STYLE by Gayle Erwin.

During free time, I: Stare longingly into my wife's eyes. Or contemplate the vast wonders of the universe, heaven, hell; and all things therein.

One favorite memory: My absolute favorite is the first time I told my wife, Elaina, that I loved her while we were dating. It truly was an example of the mouth speaking from the overflow of the heart. Other than that, a favorite memory would be a recent push-up contest that took place during a youth mission trip. Some of the teens challenged the leaders to see who could do the most push-ups without stopping. I won by doing 67 push-ups without stopping!

Ministry history: I received God's call to vocational ministry at age 16. Since then, I've been ministering to children and teens non-stop. I've previously served pastoral staff at two other churches. In November of 2006, I was called to serve as Assistant Youth Pastor here at SA.
