Vantedge [vant-edge] (from the root words vantage and edge.) noun.1) A prepared position, condition, or opportunity that is likely to provide superiority or an advantage. 2) A position close to the battle that allows for clear view and understanding of the situation.
Our goal for the
Middle School Ministry at Smyrna Assembly is to guide and mold our
youth so that they will have an edge in life,
spiritually and emotionally. Through worship, scripture, service, and plenty of fun, we pledge to spiritually equip our Middle Schools with only what will give
them a Vantedge in life: the Truth of the Gospel.
If you are in middle school or are the parent of a
middle school aged student, you are invited to join us weekly on Wednesdays from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Smyrna Assembly in the Cool Church room (upstairs auditorium) and on Sundays at 9 am: 8th grade in the Youth room (Aaron Shaver & Barb Hines), 6th and 7th grades upstairs next to Cool Church (Licia Burkett). We'll play games, worship together, and be taught faithfully from the Word!
